On-chain transactions are final. You are responsible for verifying wallet addresses and network selection before funding a swap. Funds sent in error may be unrecoverable.
FlowTC settles swaps on-chain and does not hold client mainnet private keys. You remain responsible for the security of your own wallets.
Swaps depend on public blockchains and third-party liquidity venues, which may experience congestion, delays, forks, or outages outside our control.
A blockchain records where an asset has been. Analytics firms use that record to score and label addresses, and exchanges, custodians and token issuers act on those labels. An asset that appears entirely ordinary to you may already carry a history you cannot see and did not create.
Stablecoins are the clearest example: USDT and USDC are issued by centralised companies that can freeze balances and blacklist addresses at will, commonly at the request of law enforcement, without notice and with no practical right of appeal. Bitcoin cannot be frozen at the protocol level, but coins associated with an incident can be refused, quarantined, or seized by the exchanges and custodians you later try to use.
This risk is real, it can crystallise long after a swap has settled, and it can affect assets you receive as well as assets you send. FlowTC cannot detect every history, cannot control any third party's decision, and cannot reverse a freeze once imposed. Please read the Terms of Service, which set out how this risk is allocated between us.
